KINGDOM OF WYRMICHOR — According to the six members of the Band of Begrudging Bravery, the handwriting of all those who aren’t in the adventuring group has been shown to be remarkably consistent. “Look at these letters,” explains Lady Arcbright, noted cleric and the group’s leader. “This one’s from Prince Lionfell who wanted us to find his father, and this one’s from a random apothecary who warned us of an assassination attempt on our lives. The lettering looks the same to my blessed eyes!”
The Band has also noticed similarities even within individual writings.
“Look at those R’s and G’s,” continued Arcbright. “They’re identical, even in the same sentence! I make a note to myself about how many arrows or daggers I’ve got, and my lettering’s all over the place. How do they do it?!”
Barbarian warlord Thog Waraxe agrees. “I write more than a few words, I get bored. But my kinsman warned us of a troll invasion, and he sent a huge note. And it looked all pretty!”
At press time, the Band reported the surprising arrival of a different style of script, receiving notice of a dangerous artifact from the Papyrus Scholars of the River Empire.
